Five Quick Rewards
Imagine getting so many different rewards for carrying out just one good action? Wouldn’t that be so amazing? Especially, if this good action was simple and easy!
Our beloved Nabi ﷺ has taught us a few words that, if read one hundred times a day, will bring five different rewards!
Action:
Read the following 100 times each day:
لَا إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ اللّٰهُ، وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيْكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهْوَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيْر
La ilaha illal-lahu wahdahoo la shareeka lahoo, lahu-l-mulk wa lahul-hamd wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay’in qadeer.
Reward:
Equivalent to:
1) Freeing 10 slaves
2) 100 rewards will be written
3) 100 sins will be forgiven
4) These words will act as a shield against Shaytan for that day
5) The rewards are so much that no one will be superior to the reader except the one who (reads these words too and then) does more (good actions).
Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said,
” Whoever says: “La ilaha illal-lah wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahu-l-mulk wa lahul- hamd wa huwa ‘ala kulli shai’in qadir,” one hundred times will get the same reward as given for manumitting ten slaves; and one hundred good deeds will be written in his accounts, and one hundred sins will be deducted from his accounts, and it (his saying) will be a shield for him from Satan on that day till night, and nobody will be able to do a better deed except the one who does more than he.”
