Seeking forgiveness for other believers

How much would we like to receive over a billion rewards in just a few seconds? I can’t imagine anyone who wouldn’t want this right?

Let’s look at a very simple action which brings us this huge amount of reward:

Our beloved Nabi ﷺ tells us that whoever asks Allah Ta’ala’s forgiveness for all the believing men and women, in return for this, Allah Ta’ala will grant a reward for every believing man and woman in the world! (Tabraani)

There are well over one billion Muslims in the world so just by asking Allah Ta’ala’s forgiveness for them, we will gain this huge reward! Amazing right?!

Hadeeth:

‘Ubaadah رضي الله عنه states that our beloved Nabi ﷺ said,

“Whoever seeks forgiveness for the believing men and believing women, Allah will write for him a good deed for each believing man and believing woman.” (Tabraani)

Another Special Benefit

Imam Tabarani rahimahullah has recorded the Hadeeth in which our beloved Nabi ﷺ says:

‘Whoever seeks forgiveness on behalf of the believing males and females, twenty-five (25) or twenty-seven (27) times daily, will have his du’as accepted and [he will be among those] through whom the people of the earth receive provisions.’”

Let’s make it a part of our daily Du’a and routine to ask Allah Ta’ala to forgive us and forgive all of our brothers and sisters everyone around the world. Through this not only will everyone’s sins be forgiven, and so much mercy will descend, we will also get lots of rewards insha’allah.
