A Treasure from Jannah

We all would love to get our hands on some treasure. So how about we learn how to get our hands on to a treasure from Jannah!

Our amazing Nabi ﷺ has taught us a few basic words which he has said are so spacial that they are from the treasures of Jannah!

Amazing right? Let’s learn and start reading these simple but amazing words:

The Treasures from Jannah

لَاحَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِٱللَّٰهِ

Laa Hawla Wala Quwwata Illa Billah

Translation: There is no power and no strength except with Allah

Let us look at some amazing virtues and benefits of reading these special words Insha’allah:

Benefit 1 – Treasure from Jannah

Our beloved Nabi ﷺ said:

 “Increase in saying ‘La Hawla wa la Quwwata illa Billah’, as it is a treasure from the treasures of Paradise.”

(Ahmad)

Our beloved Nabi ﷺ said:

“Should I not guide you to a (few) word(s) that is a treasure from the treasures of Paradise: La Hawla wa la Quwwata illa Billah”

(Bukhari)

Benefit 2 – A Door of Jannah

Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه reports that our beloved Nabi ﷺ said:

Once our beloved Nabi ﷺ said to Sayyiduna Qays ibn ‘Ubadah رضي الله عنهما ‘Should I not show you one of the doors of Jannah?’ Sayyiduna Qays ibn ‘Ubadah رضي الله عنهما replied, ‘Certainly!’ Nabi ﷺ said, ‘La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah.’

(Tirmidhi)

Benefit 3 – Cure from 99 Illnesses including depression! 

Our beloved Nabi ﷺ said:

“Saying La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah is a cure for ninety-nine sicknesses, the most minor being sorrow/depression.”

(Mustadrak Hakim)

Benefit 4 – Sins Forgiven no matter how many!

Our beloved Nabi ﷺ said:

“There is no one on earth who says:

1) La ilaha illa Allah, Allahu Akbar, SubhanAllah,
2) Alhamdulillah, and
3) La Hawla wa la Quwwata illa Billah,

except that his sins will be forgiven, even if they were like the foam on the ocean.”

(Ahmad, Tirmidhi)

Benefit 5 – Plants in Jannah

Our beloved Nabi ﷺ said:

“Be plentiful in sowing the seeds of paradise, for indeed its water is sweet and fresh, and its soil is good, thus be plentiful in planting it’s seedlings ‘La Hawla wa la Quwwata illa Billah‘

(Tabaraani in ‘Al Mu’jam Al-Kabeer)

Let’s start reciting these simple but amazing words and feel happy knowing we are gaining all these amazing benefits!
