A Look back at the amazing features. Appearance, characteristics, habits, and personality of our most amazing nabi ﷺ, to help us understand how special he was.

Jibreel Alayhis Salam has said:

قَلَّبْتُ مَشَارِقَ الْأَرْضِ ، وَمَغَارِبَهَا فَلَمْ أَرَ رَجُلًا أَفْضَلَ مِنْ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

“I searched the east and the west, I left no stone unturned, but I did not find anyone like our beloved Rasul ﷺ.” (Mujamul Awsat-Tabraani)

His blessed features

Listen to “His blessed features” by Mawlana Junayd Makda Sahib

Sayyidina Hassaan Ibn Thaabit رضي الله عنه whilst describing the beauty of our beloved Nabi ﷺ says:

“No eyes have seen or witnessed anyone as beautiful as you.
No mother has given birth to anyone as handsome as you.
You have been created so perfectly that there is no fault in you.
It is almost as if Allah created you exactly how you desired.

His Blessed Forehead ﷺ

Sayyidina Ali رضي الله عنه whilst describing the blessed head of our beloved Nabi ﷺ says that it was large in proportion and imposing. (Musnad Ahmed)

Sayyidatina Hind رضى الله عنها has described our beloved Nabi ﷺ’s forehead as being broad. (Shama’il)

Both these features, described by Sayyidina Ali رضي الله عنه and Sayyidatina Hind رضي الله عنها were features which increased our beloved Nabi ﷺ ‘s beauty and made him more noticeable.

These two features are also a physical sign of intelligence!

His Blessed Nose ﷺ

The nose of our beloved Nabi ﷺ, has been described as slim (ibn Asakir) and the bridge of the nose has been described as high. (Shama’il)

His Blessed Cheeks ﷺ

The cheeks of our beloved Nabi ﷺ were slender, meaning they weren’t chubby nor were had they sunk in. (Shama’il)

His Blessed Mouth and Teeth ﷺ

The blessed mouth of our beloved Nabi ﷺ was wide. This allowed for more clarity in speech and this feature also made other features of his blessed face stand out more, which further enhanced his beauty! (Shama’il)

The teeth of our beloved Nabi ﷺ were exceptionally white. The Sahabah (Companions) رضي الله عنهم say that they were as white as hailstone! (Tirmizi)

Between the upper and lower teeth, there was a small gap. When our beloved Nabi ﷺ would speak, a light would shine through that gap! This too enhanced the beauty of our beloved Nabi ﷺ. (Shama’il)

His Blessed Saliva ﷺ

The saliva of our beloved Nabi ﷺ was also special and unique. It had a fragrance! (Ibn sa’d)

Amazing facts and miracles about his blessed saliva:

When our beloved Nabi ﷺ’s blessed saliva was placed in a well, the quantity of the water in the well would increase and the water would become sweet. This sweetness of the water would remain until the well dried up!

There is also an incident where the eye of Sayyidina Ali رضي الله عنه became infected. Our beloved Nabi ﷺ placed his blessed saliva in his eye and the infection immediately had cured! (Bukhari)

May Allah Ta’alaa fill our hearts with the love of our beloved Nabi ﷺ and enable us to emulate Him in every aspect of our life.

Blessings in water

Look at how amazing our beloved Nabi ﷺ was!!

Sayyiduna Al-Bara’ ibn Aazib رضي الله عنه reports an amazing incident which took place on the day of Hudaybiyah.

He explains that there were 1400 companions with our beloved Nabi ﷺ. They needed water, so approached a well, which had very little water. They used every drop of this water but it wasn’t enough.

When our amazing Nabi ﷺ heard of this, he came to the well and sat down besides it. He asked for a vessel of water and performed wudhu (ablution) and rinsed his mouth. With this, he made supplication. He then asked for this water (the used water) to be poured into the well and told the companions to leave the well for a while.

After some time, when the Sahabah checked, the well had suddenly filled with water and there was so much water that all of the companions drew water for themselves and their animals while they remained in Hudaibiyah. (Bukhari)
