Lofty Status in the Hereafter due to Salawat

Imam Abu Zur’ah al-Razi rahimahullah lofty status

Lived from: 194 AH to 264 AH

Imam Abu Zur‛ah ar-Razi rahimahullah who is among the great scholars of Hadeeth was born in Iran in 194 A.H. He was born in to a family of scholars and Ulama, specialising in the sciences of Hadeeth. He had a great love for our beloved Nabi ﷺ. He had the good fortune of studying under great personalities and senior Muhaddithun and himself had great students such as Imam Muslim and Imam Tirmidhi rahimahumullah!

When he passed away, someone saw him in a dream, in the first heaven teaching the angels how to perform Salah.

He enquired: “How did you achieve this status?” Abu Zur‛ah rahimahullah replied: “Rasulullah ﷺ said:

He who sends durood/salawat upon me once, Allah Ta’ala will send ten mercies on him

I was fortunate to write a million Ahadeeth and for every Hadeeth (O wrote), I read Durood!

(This would have been in addition to writing the durood and reading durood in many other occasions.)
