Look at how amazing our beloved Nabi ﷺ was!!

Miracle of our beloved Nabi ﷺ making it rain

In the time of our beloved Nabi ﷺ, there was a very dry spell in Madeenah. There was no rain and everyone was struggling. Especially the farmers.

Sayyiduna Anas ibn Malik رضي الله عنه says that a man came to our beloved Nabi ﷺ, while he was delivering the Khutbah of Jumu’ah.

The man said, “There is no rain, so please call upon your Rabb to bless us with rain.”

Our beloved Nabi ﷺ looked up to the sky. It was blue and there were no clouds in sight. Our beloved Nabi ﷺ continued looking up at the sky and called upon Allah Ta’ala for rain.

Suddenly, clouds started gathering until it started raining! It rained until the valleys of Madeenah were flowing with water. Not only this, but the rain did not stop.

It continued raining until the following Jumu’ah when, again during the Jumu’ah Khutbah another man stood up while our beloved Nabi ﷺ was delivering a sermon and he said, “We are drowning, so please call upon your Lord to withhold it from us.”

Our beloved Nabi ﷺ smiled and said three times, “O Allah, let it rain around us and not upon us.” The clouds started dispersing over Madeenah to the right and left, and it rained around Madeenah and not upon Madeenah.

Amazing right?!

(This miracle can be found in a hadeeth of Sahih al-Bukhari 5742)
