Look at how amazing our beloved Nabi ﷺ was!!
The eye of Qatadah Ibn Nu'man رضي الله عنه
During the battle of Uhud, one of the companions guarding our beloved Nabi ﷺ was Sayyiduna Qatadah ibn Nu’man رضي الله عنه. He very bravely stood right in front of our beloved Nabi ﷺ so to protect him for arrows which wet being fired in their direction.
In the midst of these arrow landed causing this companions eyeball to pop out.
Holding the eyeball in his hand, he turned towards our beloved Nabi ﷺ and made dua, “ O Allah! Just as Qatadah protect the face of Your Nabi, protect his face and restore his eye to a condition better and sharper than what it originally was”.
Our beloved Nabi ﷺ with his blessed hand placed the eye ball back in it’s place. Sahaba say this eye looked more beautiful than the other eye (that hadn’t fallen off)!
