A Look back at the amazing features. Appearance, characteristics, habits, and personality of our most amazing nabi ﷺ, to help us understand how special he was.

Jibreel Alayhis Salam has said:

قَلَّبْتُ مَشَارِقَ الْأَرْضِ ، وَمَغَارِبَهَا فَلَمْ أَرَ رَجُلًا أَفْضَلَ مِنْ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

“I searched the east and the west, I left no stone unturned, but I did not find anyone like our beloved Rasul ﷺ.” (Mujamul Awsat-Tabraani)

His Natural Awe and how people admired and respected him

Abdullah Ibn Mas’ud رضي الله عنه describing the awe of our beloved Nabi ﷺ says, that once a man came to visit our beloved Nabi ﷺ. He was overcome with such awe that he began trembling.
Our beloved Nabi ﷺ asked him to calm down saying he was not a king. He was just a normal person.

Sayyiduna Anas رضي الله عنه explains that when our beloved Nabi ﷺ would come out to a gathering with the companions, and the likes of Sayyiduna Abu Bakr and Sayyiduna Umar رضي الله عنهما would also be present. None of the companions would lift their gazes towards our beloved Nabi ﷺ except Sayyiduna Abu Bakr and Sayyiduna Umar رضي الله عنهما.

Sayyiduna Anas رضي الله عنه further explains the close relationship Abu Bakr and Umar رضي الله عنهما had with our beloved Nabi ﷺ by saying they would look at our beloved Nabi ﷺ and he would look at them, they would smile with him and he would smile back at them. (Tirmizi)

Sayyiduna Amr Ibn al-Aas رضي الله عنه also describes how the sahaba would be able to look up towards our beloved Nabi ﷺ saying that Nobody was more dear to us than Rasulullah ﷺ. However, we were unable to look at Rasulullah ﷺ in the eye due to the tremendous awe and respect we had for him. – Sirat, Vol. 7, Page 109

Sayyiduna Anas رضي الله عنه also describes how much respect the companions had for our beloved Nabi ﷺ, saying that they would sit so motionless and still in the gatherings of our beloved Nabi ﷺ that it seemed like birds sitting on their heads and they were being careful not to make them fly away by moving.

This awe and respect was despite the kind and loving nature of our amazing Nabi ﷺ. It was indeed from Allah Ta’ala that despite his simplicity and kind-heartedness everyone around him held him with such high esteem and willingly gave him such respect.

These were just a few brief descriptions of our most beautiful, most perfect and most special Nabi ﷺ, who is a perfect role model for us all.

يَارَبِّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ دَائِماً اَبَداً عَلٰى حَبِيْبِكَ خَيْرِ الْخَلْقِ كُلِّهِمِ
